Abstract |
Background. The article is devoted to studying the concept of the welfare state, its content and essence. The classification of models of the welfare state is given. The problem of building such a state, which the Russian Federation aspires to, is connected with a common understanding of this phenomenon. There are several approaches to understanding the welfare state, which confirms the relevance of the problem. Materials and methods. The study is based on the analysis of the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the legislation regulating the social sphere. It also relies on the doctrinal approaches to the concept and essence of the welfare state. The methodological basis of the research consists of such methods of cognition as analysis and synthesis, formal-logical and comparative-legal, which allow comparing the provisions of normative legal acts that affect social issues to varying degrees. |
